Introducing a new six week Meditation/Qi Gong class at our Sarasota location starting January 10 from 11am-12:30pm! Classes will continue every Thursday from 11am-12:30pm through February 14. The class format will consist of yoga, taught at 11am by our instructor Beth Palmer. After a short break, meditation will follow by Nancy Saum.

Are you new to yoga or meditation? It’s okay! No experience is required and it is the perfect time to start something new. We will help you find your flow by exploring successive modes of meditation, by performing gentle breath-focused movements followed by seated mindfulness meditation.

The Women’s Resource Center strives to practice yoga and meditation because we believe that self-care is mandatory as a prerequisite to empowerment.  Yoga, meditation, and mindful living improves strength, endurance, balance, relieves stress and anxiety and keeps your mind sharp.


Weekly Yoga:

Power Yoga: Manatee, Tuesdays, 8:15-9:30am. Fee: $5

Gentle Yoga: Manatee, Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30pm. Fee: $5

Intermediate Yoga: Manatee, Saturdays, 9-10am. Fee: $5

All Levels: Sarasota, Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays, 9-10:30am. Fee: $5

12 Step Recovery: Manatee, Saturdays, 11am-12:30pm. Fee: A donation to the WRC is appreciated
