When you think of “Wonder Woman” what comes to mind? We at The Women’s Resource Center think of strong, intelligent, leader, trailblazer, influential women… and so, so much more. The four women who were chosen as our Spring 2019 Wonder Women are nothing short of these terms.
We held our Spring Legacy Luncheon on Tuesday, February 26th at the Hyatt Regency in Sarasota. We had a wonderful afternoon honoring:

Umbreen Khalidi-Majeed
CEO and strategist for Parkside Assisted Living and Memory Cottage
Dr. Carol Probstfeld
President of State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota
Michael Saunders
Founder and CEO of Michael Saunders & Company
We also had the honor of hearing from our Wonder Women Client and Betty Schoenbaum Scholar, Christina Creadon. Christina shared her life-changing story with us. She went from barely graduating high school to becoming an RN, BSM, and we are so proud of her. She thanked Betty for her success, and while Betty was in the hospital, Christina had the chance to help take care of Betty and comfort her family.
