The Women’s Resource Center’s Divorce Support Group is designed to provide women dealing with the life changing transition of divorce a safe and supportive environment to meet. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their challenges and successes with others, express feelings, develop coping skills and benefit from the support given by others who understand and relate.

Facilitator: Paula Falk, BS
Bio: Paula Flak, BS is a dedicated advocate for mental health and well-being with a passion for supporting individuals through challenging times. During the first half of her career, she worked in psychiatry with all age groups facilitating therapeutic activities. Driven by her desire to make a difference, Paula became actively involved in facilitating weekly support group sessions for caregivers in her role as Director of Caregiving Services for Senior Friendship Centers, Inc.
In this role, she demonstrated exceptional empathy and listening skills, creating a safe and supportive environment where members could openly express their feelings and concerns without fear of judgment. Through her support group experience, Paula honed her ability to provide practical advice and emotional support to those in need. She developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and cultivated a compassionate approach to helping them navigate their journeys toward healing and recovery.
She believes strongly in the power of connection and mutual support in overcoming life’s obstacles, and she remains committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others through her work.
